4/7/2012 Lancaster City - First Friday - & Yummy Dining!

We did it! The King family of six (why yes I AM the mother of four amazing kiddos) ventured out to Lancaster's First Friday last night! Note that they are open for lunch and supper - and open during the "wee hours" of the weekend also! (until 4 am!) AND - it IS a BYOB eatery!

As can happen with larger families, we were later than expected and frankly - completely famished. SO - we "landed" at Spyro Gyros and Salads - a delightful find for Mediterranean fare! Just check out this MENU! My personal favorite was the "Vegetarian Delight" a HUGE platter (of which I ate less than 1/3!) of hummus, salad, falafel, tahini, grape leaves, spinach pie, and more! DELICIOUS. The service was fantastic, the food as well, and this casual, fun restaurant is one we'll definitely visit again!

All in all, a wonderful family night out on the town in downtown Lancaster city PA!
